Hanne's Thoughts: I love Deanne's fairly simple design - the ribbon, the image and the sentiment really gets the full attention with the black background. The image is super cute and the colours in the card scream Halloween. :)

Monica's Thoughts: Love the sweet dog image with the glitter accents and the simplicity of the card!

Lynnpenguin's Thoughts: Love the image and the pink/green colour combo. The flowers and background are fantastic with this image too.

Rebecca's Thoughts: Love the Pocket letter idea and I truly inspired by Nikki for her Halloween projects. Love how she share her beautiful images by layering them in the pocket letter. Love it.

Sandy's Thoughts: Love the more muted colours and the use of one of Tim Holtz’s crazy dog images, the spooky tree gives it a nice Halloween feel as does the slight touch of red on the dog’s lips and bone. I really like the little spider charm as well. Not too scary, lol.

Shirley-Anne's Thoughts: A striking, simple creation in which I loved the bright cheery colour combination . They really did work well together on the first of her shared cards and I also loved the design of her second card.

Monthly Challenge #9 -- Halloween / Dress Up

Good morning fellow crafters!! And welcome to the Open-Minded Crafting Fun Challenge Blog and our next challenge!

Monthly Challenge #9 is all about Halloween/Dress Up!! You can create anything that focuses on that theme. We are looking forward to seeing all of the wonderful creations from everyone!! Show us your spooky, your cute, your kids dressing up, anything that you think will fit our theme.

Deadline: The deadline for this challenge will be midnight on Wednesday, October 9th, 2016. Please make sure to link up before then.

Prize and DT Favorite Information: We will randomly draw the winner for each of the sponsors. These winners will be posted on Wednesday, October 20th, 2016. We will also post the DT Favorites at the same time.

Alicia Bel has been drawing since childhood. She studied Teaching and Fine Arts. She was able to learn anatomy, composition and many her drawings more interesting. Have a look in her shop and you will see that her images are very sweet and innocent and even a little sexy thrown in there sometimes. We are truly thankful for her art and for her sharing with us in the crafty community so that we have great images to create with.

Ruth had a full time job and then was going to night school to finish her degree. To stay awake she would doodle and her doodles kept her entertained and awake through every lecture.
